About this pack
This 10-page set of telling time to the hour worksheets for 1st grade and ESL/EFL students has 80 numbered clock problems, all on o'clock times, that move students back and forth between analog and digital clocks.
Page 1 teaches the rule in one box: when the long hand touches the 12, the time is "something o'clock", and the short hand tells you which hour. A model clock shows 4 o'clock next to a digital 04:00. Below it are 8 warm-up items. Four show a digital time (09:00, 03:00, 12:00, 10:00) and four show an analog clock, and for each one students write the time twice, once as hours and minutes and once in words with "o'clock".
Pages 2–10 all use the same three-part layout, so students know what to do after the first page. In Part 1 (items 1–4) they read an analog clock and write the time in a digital box. In Part 2 (items 5–8) they read a digital time such as 06:00 or 11:00 and draw the hour and minute hands on a blank clock face. Part 3 has two "write your own time" boxes where students choose an hour and show it on both a digital and an analog clock. Every hour from 1:00 to 12:00 comes up across the set. There is no answer key.
