At the top, each picture has its three letters printed out of order (a c b for cab, d g o for dog) for children to fix and write. Below, three short sentences each have a word missing, with three CVC choices and a picture clue, for example "Fox in a ___" with box, cod and fox to choose from. The sentences are written in large, grey traceable letters on handwriting lines, so children trace the sentence as they complete it.
