These 10 prepositions of place worksheets give 1st graders 60 picture questions to answer with in, on, under, behind, next to, in front of and other position words. Every page has a word box of six prepositions and six colour pictures. Each picture comes with a "Where is…?" question and a sentence to finish, such as "Where is the cat? The cat is ___ the table." Children look at the picture, choose the right word from the box and write it in the gap. The word boxes change from page to page, so later pages bring in above, below, near, between, on top of, at and with alongside the basic set.
