This 30-page s-blends pack gives kindergarten and 1st grade children five activity pages for each of the sc, sk, sm and sw blends, followed by review pages that mix all four. For each blend, children draw a line from pictures to traced words and read them (scary, scarf, scoop, scaly, score, scorpion), trace and match, write the missing letters in words such as s_ile, smo_ and sw_m and draw each one, cut and paste pictures onto words (skirt, skunk, skip, skull, skillet), and trace a silly sentence to read and illustrate ("A scorpion will scoop a scaly fish into a scarf."). The review pages include circling letters to spell each word, a word search with words such as skeleton, swirl, smog and sweat, writing words in the correct column, and sorting pictures under sc-, sk-, sm- and sw- headings. Pages are black and white, so children can colour the pictures.
