A 30-page consonant blends pack covering four blends: dr, fr, fl and tr. Each blend gets 5 pages built around 6 picture words, such as dragon, drum, drill, dress, drink and draw for dr, or truck, trunk, trash, trap, treat and tree for tr. The 5 pages for each blend follow the same order: draw a line from the picture to the word and read it, trace and match, write the missing letter and draw, cut and paste the pictures onto the words, and read, trace, then draw a silly sentence ("The frog's friend will fry fresh fruit on Friday"). The last 10 pages mix all four blends for review: link the letters to spell a word, circle the letters to spell each word (2 pages), three word searches, two crosswords, sorting blend sounds into their homes, and a cut-and-paste picture sort.
