Possessive Nouns Worksheets | Circle the Correct Apostrophe & Rewrite, Grade 1-3

Ribbit — ESL/EFL Worksheet Resource

This 10-page pack asks students to spot the sentence with the correct possessive apostrophe and then rewrite the other one properly. Every item gives two sentences that use possessive nouns. In one, the apostrophe is present ("Can Bonnie's dog do?") and in the other it is missing ("Mia's cake has extra chocolate chips" next to "Mias soup got a bit too spicy"). The instruction reads "Circle the possessive noun sentences. Rewrite the sentences without possessive nouns," and students write their version on the ruled lines. Names, sports, space and food themes run through the sentences.
