This 10-page set of fall sentence scramble worksheets gives Grades 1–3 and ESL/EFL students 60 jumbled autumn sentences to put back in order and write out on handwriting lines. Each page has six sentences. Every sentence is split into word boxes, usually six words, and the words are shuffled. The capital letter on the first word and the full stop on the last word are left in place, so students can use them as clues to where the sentence starts and ends. Under each row of boxes is a set of dotted handwriting lines for the finished sentence. The sentences follow a different fall theme on each page: raking and jumping in leaves, a trip to the pumpkin patch, putting on sweaters and jackets for cool mornings, baking apple pie and drinking warm cider, a farm with a scarecrow and a cornfield, apple picking, playing soccer and flying kites outside, Halloween costumes and trick-or-treating, cosy rainy days with books and hot chocolate, and a walk in the park watching squirrels carry acorns.
