Ribbit — ESL/EFL Worksheet Resource

This 10-page Spring Sentence Scramble pack holds 60 jumbled sentences for 1st grade and ESL learners to put back in order and write out. Each page has six rows of five or six word boxes, with writing lines underneath each row. The sentences are all about spring: "Rain falls on green grass.", "Tiny chicks hatch in April.", "Bees collect nectar to make honey.", "Children wear colourful rain boots." and so on, covering weather, baby animals, flowers, gardens and spring clothes. A capital letter marks the first word and a full stop sits on the last, which gives children two clues to start from. The pages are black and white with a small spring picture in the corner, and words can be cut out and moved before writing for children who need the hands-on step.
