This 17-page set of space flash cards gives pre-K and kindergarten English learners colour pictures and separate word cards for 32 space words. A word list on page 2 shows the full set: the Sun, the eight planets, Pluto, the Moon, star, asteroid, comet, alien, planet, spaceship, rocket, telescope, satellite, constellation, astronaut, black hole, galaxy, solar system, crater, eclipse, orbit, gravity, supernova, space and astronomer. The picture cards are bright cartoon drawings in coloured frames, and the word cards print the word in large type on a pastel shape, so the two can be used for matching, memory games or a word wall. A few words, such as gravity, orbit and supernova, are abstract for very young children, so they suit older or stronger groups. The cards carry a small 2019 "The Educational Penguin" footer from an earlier version of the store.
