This 52-page set of sight word flash cards has 100 fold-over cards, one for each of Fry's first 100 words, with an example sentence on every card, plus a word list. Each card has the sight word in large print and a short sentence that uses it, with the word in bold: "I am sad.", "This is my mom.", "Can we go again?", "Show me how to draw.", "What is your name?" The other half of each card has handwriting lines so children can write the word themselves before folding. There are two cards to a page. Because every word comes in a sentence, the cards help children read the word in context rather than just memorise its shape.
