Food Color Flash Cards | 11 Color Words with Picture Cards | Pre-K and Kindergarten

Ribbit — ESL/EFL Worksheet Resource

This 6-page set pairs 11 color words with a food in that color: blue ice cream, red apple, green broccoli, orange carrot, pink grapefruit, yellow banana, white egg, purple eggplant, brown bread, sky blue soda, and black seaweed. There are two cards to a page, with a single card on the last page. Linking each color to something children eat gives them a second word to say and an easy sentence frame: "The banana is yellow." Cut the cards apart for a matching game, or hold one up and ask learners to find something else in the room of the same color.
